About the speaker:
A seasoned Work Health and Safety (WHS) executive with over 20 years of strategic leadership experience across diverse industries including telecommunications, insurance, construction, rail, and manufacturing. Proven track record of transforming organisational safety cultures, implementing robust WHS frameworks, and driving significant reductions in workplace incidents and claims. Currently working as Senior Director WHS at Optus. Prior to joining Optus, Shailendra has worked with QBE, Transport for NSW and Wesfarmers. After completing his Bachelors of Engineering(Hons) Shailendra started his career at BHP.
